2024 Program

As a self-directed learner, I work best with a plan. As such, careful reflection about the subject matter and style of painting I want to explore informs the selection of the classes, workshops and self-directed practice I will undertake in 2024.

My intention for the year is to produce the following pieces for friends, family and Art Awards opportunities':​

• Landscape (interior)

• Landscapes (exterior including en plein air) 

• More portraits practice!

• Selected Master copies

Last year featured much practice in painting as well as pencil drawings:

• Bargue Plates practice (graphite on paper)

• Portrait of man (several practice pieces completed)

• Portrait of woman (several practice pieces completed)

• Large-scale Peonies (complete)

• Landscape (interior - complete)

• Landscape (exterior - complete) 

• Abstraction - several experiments in acrylic are complete
