'My paintings reflect something personal. I am drawn to vast landscapes, people, objects and animals. I paint a wide variety of subjects in a realist style. In every painting I am striving to understand the laws of nature and how light works. My goal for every painting is to achieve a convincing sense of reality and break the constraints of the two dimensional surface'.

Paint Coach
'Unlike a lot of oil painters out there with online classes I know what it is like to try and learn to paint on your own. I have been drawing and painting since I could walk but when it came time for me to really learn how to paint with oils I was on my own. I learned the way you are right now. I watched endless video tutorials and crafted my own way to paint. I'm not just trying to force what is taught in art schools into videos online because learning online is completely different. It requires a very straight forward down to earth approach that is easy to understand. So if you would like to learn from someone who was in your shoes I'm here to be your paint coach'.

'Join me as a share my secrets of luminous still life painting with time-lapse and long-form demonstrations and How-tos. Subscribe to be part of this journey into luminous painting.
I create luminous paintings to express my joy in discovering unexpected beauty in things around me. I love to explore the subtleties and nuances I find in them. When I'm inspired by objects I find so beautiful I’m compelled to go on a journey of discovery as I paint them. I look forward to sharing those journeys with you.
My award-winning paintings have been in many solo and group shows and hang in private and public collections in the US and abroad. My work has been featured in prestigious art magazines including "Fine Art Connoisseur," "American Art Collector," and "International Artist."
